    1. It wasn't as good as it had the potential to be. I know I say that a lot, but that's because so many times I can see what the author is aiming for, but they just don't quite make it to where they're trying to get.It would help if the dialogue between the hiker and the object was a bit snappier. It just felt a bit flat-footed, pardon the pun. Properly done, it would have added to the story and evoked a reluctant snicker.The ending, even though the groundwork was laid for it, almost felt like it b [...]
